Joanie Stubbs (Deadwood; proprietary ): a big generous-hearted but also broken-hearted 1890s lesbian ex-madam. Do with that what you will.

• Honestly, Deadwood people are rare enough that I'm open to threads with pretty much anyone, to some degree or another.
• Big big shipping is obviously, as canon, Joanie/Jane.
• But I'm all about lady relationships, romantic or platonic, no matter what.

Bennett Halverson (Dollhouse;neuroscienced ): she's my precious messed-up darling and I want happiness for her, but also that's kind of a tall order sometimes and I know that.

• Number one shipping priority is Topher/Bennett. I love those nerds and the pure potential of them together.
• God but how much do I also want to explore Bennett/Caroline though. College-era for minimal messed-upness, but still. There's potential there too and I am intrigued.
• This said, I play Bennett aggressively demisexual, which means that shipping is not typically going to be my go-to for her if any other characters are involved. I'm really interested in developing the platonic relationships that could have been with the other Dollhouse cast, because obviously she didn't really... get to do that.
• That said, I'm more inclined toward shipping her otherwise with the women in canon, if it eventually goes there. There is something utterly fascinating to be had between her and Claire, for example, maybe.

Tina Brink (Dollhouse, 63; starches ): a hyper genius weirdo with more ambition than good sense. Shipping not required.

• Tina winds up being pretty demisexual as well, really. Friendships/foeships are the priority here. Just playing with dynamic, and hell, she needs friends.
• I would kill for found family with Adelle, 63'd or no. (63'd or no applies to all of this.)
• As per the above, Bennett would be my number one shipping priority. I still OTP them after all this time.

Kaylee Frye (Firefly; shiniest ): will flirt with everyone, will love everyone who deserves it. Here for space adventures!

• I really do ship the hell out of her and Simon, that's always going to be true. They're just so awkward and pure.
• That said I also ship the hell out of her and Inara, for some of the same points of dichotomy but a lot less failflirtation.
• I'd be hypothetically open to doing stuff with (post-Serenity) Zoe or (of age) River.
• Jayne would require a loooot of negotiation, but I've played with a couple in the past that she vibed with. It's not my natural instinct though, not at all.
• Mal and Wash and obviously Book are all just family though.
• Also hi can we talk about how much I want this cast AU'd into Star Wars because I do. Mostly just for teamwork and friendship on Kaylee's part, probably, though shipping is possible depending on the era and character.

River Tam (Firefly; gorramgirl ): damaged genius. A little psychic. So very new to relationships of a romantic nature, but family is A+.

• I don't do incest or anything, so Simon is just for big brother times. How much do I want those, though? A lot.
• She too sees Mal and Wash and Book and definitely Jayne as family (sometimes that's a generous word for it). I'm not into that at all.
• I'm not saying, incidentally, that there's no boy character I'd ship her with... but I can't honestly think of any off the top of my head.
• Provided we know that in-thread she's of age, though, I'm open to stuff with Kaylee and Inara and Zoe even.
• And see above re: Star Wars, holy shit do I ever want her palling with the new generation of protagonist kids especially. I really, really ship her with Rey actually, but I'm open to exploring a lot of things.

Rhonda Richardson (GLOW; britannica ): it's the 80s, she's British, she pretends to wrestle while dressed up like a geeky schoolgirl. She also makes up songs sometimes and thinks astronaut helmets are for beekeepers.

• Anything. She's quite a bisexual, but I have no particular character preferences with her yet. I just want goofy 80s adventures with other gals.

Dr. Dakota Block (Grindhouse: Planet Terror; anesthetic ):  the closeted small-town Texan lesbian anesthesiologist of your dreams, now with 10x more zombie-murdering capability.

• So yes shipping her with Cherry is the priority. I'm all for that.
• That said, I'm not picky, honestly. Any nice queer women who don't mind a gf that comes with small-town Texan baggage are welcome to play.

The Dag (Mad Max: Fury Road; seedings ): tender angry queer tiny flower princess. Known to bite, hyperfixate, and stare vacantly at the horizon.

• I default, generally, to all of the Wives (Dag plus Angharad, Capable, Toast, Cheedo) in a polyamorous affection pile, where each pair has their own special dynamic but also they're all devoted to each other as a whole.
• As far as I am concerned, though, Dag's number one forever girl is Cheedo. Holy shit they are so obviously in love. Two parts of the same whole, with their one set of fingerless gloves between them. Ugh they're the most beautiful and I yearn to explore their intimacy always.
• I am also totally down with her and Furiosa.
• As cross-canon goes, give me your rebel girls. That's what she's here for really.

Toast the Knowing (Mad Max: Fury Road; wastelanded ); little miss worldwise. She's seen too much, but she still tries to help.

• I default, generally, to all of the Wives (Dag plus Angharad, Capable, Toast, Cheedo) in a polyamorous affection pile, where each pair has their own special dynamic but also they're all devoted to each other as a whole.
• I am also totally down with her and Furiosa.
• As a note, though, she's quite gray-ace, so the odds of sexual intimacy are pretty much nil if you're not one of her canon girls (and even then that's not her go-to move) or a lot of CR is developed.

Joan Holloway Harris (Mad Men; managerial ): the most glamorous professional lady who ever did live. Defaults to her canon timeframe, i.e. the 1960s, but happy to AU.

• This is the difficulty with Joan: she tends to operate under the assumption that she's heterosexual, but I have yet to meet a male character I find worthy of her. If you have a suggestion, I'm all ears, but she's picky and I'm pickier.
• I want her and Peggy in literally any context. Frenemies, friends, coworkers, weird shipping. Anything.
• Mostly she just wants to make other awesome professional friends, though, in or out of canon.

Emily Woodrow (Preacher; minivan ):  a girl Sunday, if you will. Like a girl Friday but religious. I am aggressively behind in canon, but I'm aware of her outcome. So! Her desires are currently nonspecific.

Ami Mizuno (Sailor Moon; supercomputes ):  the sweetest little genius. Period.

• Inner senshi bonding is my favorite of things! Slightly awkward bonding with the outer senshi is welcome too.
• She's another of the girls who's pretty demisexual, so shipping is not her default mode, but friendship is magic.
• That said I'll entertain any of the senshi (save Chibiusa and Hotaru because of age) for shipping, but Makoto is my favorite with her.

Michiru Kaiou (Sailor Moon; aquamirrors / live-action violinists ): she's the classiest artistic high femme lesbian who ever lived in this or any millennium.

• She is Haruka's girl forever and always and that's what I want the most.
• I also love Michiru/Haruka/Setsuna as Hotaru's three mommies.
• And general senshi friendliness, possibly with a side of her coaching them through ladyflirting because let's be real all of the inners have the hots for Haruka and Michiru.
• Her live-action journal exists, honestly, mostly for interactions with other cute queer live-action girls. Emphasis on other high-school age darlings, emphasis on other superbabyqueers.

Hotaru Tomoe (Sailor Moon; lamplights ):  the most damaged little gothic baby with light in her heart.

• She is between the ages of 10-12, so shipping is super not the priority, but let's be real she's Chibiusa's girlfriend.
• Mostly she just wants friends, though.
• And her adoptive mommies, Michiru, Haruka, and Setsuna.

Kim Pine (Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World; girldrummer ):  also a girl Friday type, but this one with way more sarcasm.

• Romantic styles? I'm number one into her and Lisa Miller (who's not in the movie but ssh).
• Other girls (Knives as long as she's of age, Ramona, Julie, etc.) are welcome.
• I'm also just here for sarcastic platonic nonsense CR.

Evaan Verlaine (Star Wars; verlaines ): a comics-canon character AU'd into live-action format, she's an X-wing pilot hailing from the former Alderaan. Gives a lot of fucks about tradition but also about what's right.

• As per she exists pretty much solely to interact with Leia in her miniseries, I ship the hell out of it.
• Let's talk options, that aside. She's pretty queer, mostly because this canon really needs that.

Kaydel Ko Connix (Star Wars; connixted ):  also probably a girl Friday. This time IN SPAAAAAAACE.

• Mostly she's here for hanging out with her fellow members of the Resistance. She's clearly tight with Poe and crew, since she was on his side in their mini-uprising.
• Romantically she's more into girls, so, you know. Rey, Rose, Jess Pava... etc. etc.

Jessica Hamby (True Blood; queenishly ): seasons 1-5 or AU only!!! A sweet and sometimes naive baby vamp just figuring her shit out.

• I so, so don't care about shipping with her and Hoyt. It happened. It ended. That's that. Sorry, pal. Also big no to Bill because he is her dad and also sucks.
• I'm ambivalent about Jason, but not wholly opposed to threading if the dynamic is right between players.
• She's on the straighter end of bisexual, but I'm more into threading with girls from canon, mostly Tara and (in AU contexts) Willa.

Nora Gainesborough (True Blood; mendacium ): season 5 or AU only!!!! My blessed liar darling, here for everything complex and weird.

• She loves her brother her Eric more than anything, and in every way. I want happier endings for them.
• She loves her pseudo-sister her Salome almost as much, and in every way, even though that was some fucked up shit once Lilith got involved. I'm up for exploring that or AU or whatever.
• Other than that she's a big bisexual know-it-all who's up for snarking at everyone and flirting with most vampires (yes to Jessica, Tara, poor Molly, Pam, etc.; no to Bill).

Eira Northman (True Blood, 63; arhundraden ): (AU of)  seasons 1-5 or total AU only!!!! That said she's up for most things at least once.
